What's the role?

Warehouse Shipping Logistics Lead

  • Serve as the primary communication liaison between Project Logistics Coordinator, Shipping/Receiving, Project Management, Installation, Procurement/Purchasing, and Inventory teams for CultureSpace—proactively surfacing issues, delays, and resolution plans
  • Ensure all CultureSpace-related electronic communications sent to the Shipping and Receiving Department are acknowledged and responded to within the same business day
  • Notify Project Management of any delayed, incomplete, or at-risk shipments with clear written status updates and expected resolution timelines
  • Communicate scheduling concerns and priority order conflicts to PM teams, providing a proposed resolution with each escalation
  • Report all incoming product discrepancies to Project Logistics Coordinator, Procurement/Purchasing and Project Management in writing, documenting root cause and corrective action
  • Coordinate with Procurement/Purchasing on all incoming shipments to confirm back-order fulfillment timelines and communicate updates to downstream teams
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Operations Manager to provide an ongoing forecast of orders versus associate capacity, updating the Shipping Board with daily targets and communicating variances in real time
  • Actively suggest and communicate continuous process improvement plans to leadership, including written proposals and supporting data
  • Deliver all interdepartmental mail and ensure time-sensitive documents reach required personnel promptly
  • Ensure all BOLs are completed and attached to the correct shipments for all LTL/FTL movements prior to carrier loading
  • Create warehouse shipments 72 hours prior to shipment date; ensure all orders are complete for the day
  • Consolidate shipments using Project Pulse and other systems to reduce cost and maximize carrier efficiency
  • Supervise all outgoing orders to confirm packing is complete in accordance with company SOP
  • Coordinate with all teams to ensure orders are fulfilled prior to shipping or installation deadlines
  • Review all on-time, in-full discrepancies and provide documented feedback to improve company KPIs
  • Return all damaged product to inventory, including mispacked items and SROs, with proper documentation
  • Ensure all CultureSpace shipping documentation is organized, filed, and accessible
  • Create and maintain a recurring report on shipments, costs, and timelines—distributing summaries to relevant stakeholders on a scheduled cadence
  • Provide front-line support to shipping team members, reviewing performance and communicating concerns or areas for improvement clearly and constructively
  • Oversee warehouse 6S and LEAN methodology efforts, communicating progress and accountability to team members and management
  • Serve as the go-to point of contact for all areas of the organization in the absence of the Warehouse Operations Manager
  • Assist with technology issues and first-line troubleshooting for shipping associates (computers, printers, scanners), escalating with written detail when unresolved
  • Provide support and resource allocation for CultureSpace orders, acting as backup when needed
  • Coordinate waste disposal resources and general warehouse support logistics
  • Perform any additional projects as directed by management

What you need:

  • 5+ years of shipping, logistics, or distribution experience required
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating communication across multiple departments or teams
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)—with emphasis on Teams for cross-departmental communication
  • Experience with Business Central (BC) or comparable WMS/ERP system
  • Advanced knowledge of warehouse machinery and equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Supervisory experience required
