Job description

Alliance Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leading organization to identify an experienced Logistics Manager for a confidential opportunity. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned distribution facility while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse performance.

The Logistics Manager will lead warehouse operations, drive operational excellence, maintain inventory accuracy, develop team members, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold all safety and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a strong operational leader who can build accountability, develop employees, improve processes, and ensure the team consistently delivers results. The successful candidate will create a culture where employees understand expectations, take ownership, and execute effectively—even in the manager’s absence.

Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse associates and supervisors.
  • Create a culture focused on accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular employee coaching, feedback discussions, and performance evaluations.
  • Address performance issues through effective coaching and corrective action.
  • Ensure expectations, priorities, and responsibilities are clearly communicated.

Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including:
  • Receiving and put-away

Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Optimizing labor utilization while maintaining service levels.

Inventory Accuracy & Control
Maintain inventory integrity through:
  • Cycle counting
  • Inventory investigations

Drive corrective actions to eliminate recurring inventory discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.
Client Service & Customer Support

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or regulated 3PL environments.
  • Knowledge of GDP/GMP requirements.
  • Experience supporting FDA-regulated operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
