Job description

Job Title: Welder – 1st ShiftJob Description

This role focuses on MIG and TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel weldments while fabricating components from blueprints in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment. You will use a variety of tools to measure, cut, grind, and shape components, consistently delivering high-quality welds and finished parts that meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals to produce high-quality weldments.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and parts according to blueprints, layouts, and work instructions.
  • Measure, cut, grind, and shape components using various tools and equipment to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, layouts, and other types of work orders or instructions to complete jobs accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize work based on customer needs and production schedules.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while operating welding and fabrication equipment.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel weldments.
  • Ability to fabricate and assemble components and parts using welding and fabrication tools.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, layouts, and work orders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $70720.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
