We're seeking a hands-on Shipping Lead to help drive daily warehouse operations while supporting and developing a team of shipping and material handling employees. If you're a motivated leader who enjoys working alongside your team, prioritizing customer orders, and ensuring products move safely and efficiently through the warehouse, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As a Shipping Lead, you'll coordinate daily shipping activities while helping your team ensure products are picked, staged, loaded, and shipped accurately and on time.
  • Lead and support team members in daily shipping, receiving, and material handling activities.
  • Prioritize sales orders, pick tickets, and shipping schedules to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
  • Communicate daily priorities and coordinate workflow with warehouse employees.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
  • Pull, stage, audit, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport inventory throughout the facility.
  • Process work orders, sales orders, and inventory transactions accurately.
  • Perform inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Inspect products for quality concerns, damage, or defects and report issues appropriately.
  • Maintain organized inventory locations and warehouse storage areas.
  • Support continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives.
  • Partner with Supervisors and Distribution Management to resolve operational issues and meet customer expectations.
  • All other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations.

  • Forklift certification or forklift operating experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse transactions.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular movement throughout the facility and may include:
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
  • Reaching, bending, twisting, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Working around moving equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment.
