Shipping Assistants also inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and accuracy. They play a key role in keeping the supply chain running smoothly by ensuring that products are shipped and received efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a shipping assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Shipping Assistant, you need attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with shipping procedures, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with inventory management software, barcode scanners, and shipping platforms like FedEx or UPS systems is typically required.
