Job description

Summary:
Provides assistance to the Shipping Department to schedule trucks, complete paperwork and ERP tasks required to ship customer orders, complete tasks required for receiving materials and products and assisting the Shipping Supervisor as required to facilitate the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing material.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Generate Shippers, Invoices and ASN’s as required by procedures and customer requirements.
2. Post receipts of components and MRO items in QAD.
3. Post receipts of MRO items in EAM. Distribute paperwork per procedures.
4. Capture and report information required to create reports as needed.
5. Support Supervision regarding security, 5S, risk mitigation and other activities related to the correct working processes in the department.

Education Required:
High School Graduate or similar.
Experience Required:
Prior experience in Shipping and Receiving is beneficial. Knowledge of ERP system especially QAD is helpful.

To perform the job duties summarized above, the employee will be required to operate a computer and other office equipment. Great attention to accuracy and detail is required to successfully perform this position. Good communication skills.
