About the Role

The Shipping/Receiving is responsible for all shipping and receiving functions, using company approved SOP’s and Policies that are specific to the Shipping and Receiving job functions, at all times.

More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:

What You’ll Do

  • ??Managing accuracy of all shipments, incoming and outgoing
  • ?Loading and unloading trucks
  • ?Moving and sorting material into racks
  • ?Locating and picking parts
  • ?Operating forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • ?Utilizing computer to produce reports for shipping and receiving
  • ?Using handheld scanner when moving material
  • ?Creating barcode labels for material storage and tracking?
  • Working primarily outdoors and occasionally indoors where temperatures could be hot/cold, depending on season. Mandatory PPE for eyes, ears, hands, and feet to prevent exposure to hazardous materials or injury. May be required to work overtime, including weekends.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds. Standing, reaching, balancing, stretching lower extremities constantly. Frequent grasping, pinching and fine manipulation. Occasionally bending and squatting.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required
  • Prior shipping experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus
  • Experience scheduling loads, working with carriers, or coordinating freight
  • Must be able to read work instructions and other work documents provided in English
  • Prior forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office 365)

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented
