Position Summary:


The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for all aspects of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring materials are accurately received, processed, stored, and shipped in a timely and organized manner. This role plays a key part in order fulfillment, material handling, and warehouse accuracy for Pioneer’s efforts to ensure satisfaction of customer.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Shipping & Receiving Duties
  • Perform daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Inspect and verify received materials against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy, condition, and completeness in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all shipments and receipts is completed in Pioneer’s NetSuite ERP system.
  • Process pick & ship customer orders and warehouse transfer orders efficiently.
  • Ensure all materials are pulled, packed, labeled, and shipped in accordance with the Pioneer’s service standards and expectations of each customer
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving activities are aligned with Pioneer’s standards and each customer’s delivery deadlines.
  •  Work closely with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups.
  • Resolve order or delivery issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver or retrieve materials and equipment from customers or vendors as needed to meet customer satisfaction and deadline requirements

Inventory Control & Material Handling Responsibilities

  • Perform material put-aways of received inventory materials. Ensur items are stored in correct locations and accurately recorded in inventory systems.
  •  In a timely manner, deliver materials ordered for active jobs to the appropriate facility area, with proper documentation, and notification to the area supervisor.
  •  Participate in weekly cycle counts and full inventory audits.

.Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills required.Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
  •  Proficient in Pioneer’s software systems: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.), NetSuite ERP system, and FreightView.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures, freight coordination, and OSHA safety standards.

Work Environment:


•    Work to be performed in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
•    Fast-paced warehouse environment with regular exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, and various shipping/receiving equipment.
•    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification a plus).
•    Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
