Part-Time Parking Attendant Ambassador (Blacksburg, VA)

Pay: $15.00/hour

Hours: Flexible, approx. 4–6 hours per week (with major game-day hours!)

Primary Location: Midtown Parking Garage (with fill-in shifts at Kent Square Garage)

Are you looking for a flexible, low-commitment part-time gig right in the heart of Blacksburg? Do you want to be right in the middle of the action on game days? Park Inc. is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Parking Attendant Ambassador to join our team!

This is the perfect role for a student, someone looking for a side hustle, or anyone who loves staying active and being a key part of Blacksburg's community rhythm. Plus, with exciting new businesses opening up near our garage, there is real room for growth for the right person!


What You’ll Do:
  • Be the Face of the Garage: Keep our Midtown facility looking sharp, clean, and welcoming for locals and visitors.

  • Keep Things Fair: Spend about 5 hours a week helping us enforce parking regulations, including writing citations so everyone has a smooth parking experience.

  • Be a Team Player: Step in and save the day as our go-to fill-in person at the Kent Square garage when our other team members are out.

  • Rock Game Days: Bring your energy to all Virginia Tech home football games! You'll work all day on game days, managing the hustle and bustle of Hokie fans.

  • Event Support: Help us out during other local town events and peak times as needed.

  • Attention to Detail: You take pride in keeping spaces clean and can accurately handle citation enforcement.
