Job description

The Client Service Executive (CSE) works alongside the Producer to serve as an advisor and consultant to our client. You will be the primary service contact for the client and the liaison between the client and insurance company(s), exemplifying the highest standard of our service model.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Essential Job Tasks)

As a Client Service Executive, you will:

  • Manage a book of business
  • Develop strategic solutions for client benefit needs
  • Participate in or conduct on-side meetings, annual reviews, marketing/renewals, and open enrollments
  • Educate clients on Compliance topics (DOL, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Maintain carrier relationships

Renewal & Marketing

  • Lead marketing efforts and plan implementation for new business and renewals
  • Prepare and present analysis for renewal and marketing results
  • Support the preparation of enrollment materials and presentations
  • Prepare case for submission, master applications, and rates and benefit confirmation to carrier
  • Provide post enrollment analysis and support to client
  • Oversee set up and maintenance of benefit administration systems

Administrative

  • Oversee client communications
  • Delegate tasks to support staff
  • Inform and educate clients on SSP’s value-added services and programs
  • Support the maintenance of client information in Agency Management System

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • 4-6 years of experience; Active Life and Health licensing in resident state required
  • Complete knowledge of current marketplace and underwriting methodologies
  • Time management and workflow prioritization
  • Proactive problem solving
  • Independent thinker and contributor
