Social Service Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Service Director to join our team at Envive of Liberty in Liberty, Indiana. The Social Service Director will be responsible for overseeing the social services department, developing and implementing social services programs, and ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents in planning social services programs

  • Plans and develops social services programs for residents with various needs, including therapeutic, neurological, and dementia care

  • Promptly follows up on admission inquiries, evaluates, and assesses the needs of prospective residents to determine appropriateness of facility placement

  • Oversees the social services department, providing guidance and support to social workers and other staff members

  • Develops and implements social services programs that promote resident well-being and engagement

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience as a Director of Social Work in a large long-term care setting preferred

  • BSW or MSW preferred, or Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • At least one year of experience in the Social Work field required

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
