Sign-on Bonus: 10,000 USD (if joining in August 2026)

As our next IT Server Manager you will be a key member of the Corporate IT team, responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing Johnson Electric's enterprise server infrastructure across the Americas. This role supports a global, 24x7 manufacturing environment and ensures operational stability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintaining enterprise server infrastructure including Windows Servers, SQL, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.

  • Configuring and optimizing server performance for manufacturing applications.

  • Designing and supporting SQL clustering and highavailability environments.

  • Administering HyperV environments, including patching, backups, and lifecycle management.

  • Managing backup and recovery using Veeam.

  • Ensuring proper server permissions and access controls.

  • Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.

  • Collaborating with Global IT teams on infrastructure standards and best practices.

  • Participating in internal and external system audits.

  • Coordinating with external vendors for software licenses and support services.

  • Providing 24x7 global infrastructure support as part of the IT team.

  • Ensuring compliance with TISAX, CMMC, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.

  • Traveling locally and internationally as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2017 / 2019 / 2022); familiarity with Server 2025 preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience with physicaltocloud migrations (AWS, Azure).

  • 2+ years of experience with server connectivity via Cisco switches, routers, WLAN, and firewalls.

  • Cisco certification or working toward certification.

  • Strong experience with Active Directory and Exchange in multisite environments.

  • Handson experience with HyperV, Veeam, SCCM, and Zabbix.

  • Experience supporting a 24x7 operational environment.

  • IBM AS400 administration experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
