What is a senior technical officer?

Senior Technical Officers are experienced professionals who oversee and manage technical operations within an organization. They are responsible for supervising technical staff, ensuring the quality and efficiency of technical processes, and providing expert guidance on complex technical issues. Their role often includes project management, troubleshooting, and implementing new technologies or procedures. Senior Technical Officers typically work in fields such as engineering, information technology, healthcare, or scientific research, depending on the organization's focus.

What are some common challenges senior technical officers face when managing cross-functional projects?
