Understanding SDLC processes is essential for effective project management in software development environments.

What are the 4 types of project managers?

In project management, four common types of project managers are functional, projectized, matrix, and hybrid. Functional managers work within a specific department, projectized managers oversee projects independently, matrix managers operate across departments with shared authority, and hybrid combines elements of these structures to suit project needs. How does an SDLC Project Manager typically collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout a project's lifecycle?

An SDLC Project Manager regularly works with cross-functional teams such as developers, QA testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure each phase of the software development life cycle progresses smoothly.
