job summary:

For this contractor assignment, as a Technical Systems analyst senior in our organization, you'll support the Planview Connected Solution program and translate business requests into IT functional/technical requirements and influence the delivery for the Planview Portfolios implementation, as well as custom in-house systems for chargeback functionality. You'll also work with various groups to facilitate stand-ups, team problem-solving and requirement reviews. This is a leading-edge team delivering value added business functions and technical solutions to our internal customers. Projects will most likely be using the Agile/SCRUM methodology, although they could use Waterfall. There may be other duties as assigned based upon the program needs.

responsibilities:

- Gather, document, create, and refine technical requirements using story cards and maintain team boards.


- Creates basic artifacts (e.g., documentation, data flow diagrams, context diagrams) used in the design, development, and implementation of new systems and system enhancements.


- Lead Agile ceremonies for the team using scrum and/or kanban methodologies including daily stand-up meetings.


- Lead and participate in monthly and quarterly planning sessions


- Participate in requirements reviews to ensure comprehensiveness and adherence to documentation standards and methodologies.


- Conducts detailed analysis and creates metrics by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, monitoring and auditing for Planview Portfolios.


qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology, or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Math, Information Systems) and a minimum of four years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applications.


- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of six years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applications may be accepted.
