WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Sewing Machine Operatorย I is responsible forย operatingย and maintaining sewing machines to perform advanced garment sewing operations. This role ensures efficient and precise sewing of various fabric and textile materials, contributing to the production of high-quality products and leading efforts toย optimizeย production processes.ย 

STRUCTUREย 
The Sewing Machine Operator reports to the Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager and collaborates closely with Quality Control Inspectors and Production Planners. They provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level and intermediate sewing machine operators.ย 

RESPONSIBILITYย 

  • Operating sewing machines to perform advanced garment sewing operations efficiently and accurately.ย 

  • Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of sewing machines to ensureย optimalย functionality.ย 

  • Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.ย 

  • Following safety protocols andย maintainingย a clean and organized work environment.ย 

  • Leading training and mentorship programs for new and intermediate sewing machine operators.ย 

  • Assistingย in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance production efficiency.ย 

REQUIREMENTSย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.ย 

  • Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator or similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.ย

  • An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered.ย
