Role Overview- Execute panel and border assembly by following established work instructions on industrial equipment: double overcaster, Brother quilter, and serger.
- Sew borders to panel cloth; fabricate mattress and box spring borders and covers; overcast both edges of quilter border material rolls.
- Interpret production tickets, collect the required materials, and document with operator’s initials.
- Operate machines via foot levers and hand controls; move finished covers and manage carts (swap empties for full carts of borders or panels).
- Sort, fold, and stack covers, borders, and panels; initial and note the size of gusset on flange.
- Perform basic machine upkeep: re-threading and needle changes.
- Uphold a clean, orderly workstation and comply with all safety and efficiency standards.
- Use a ruler with confidence and complete basic arithmetic, including fractions.
$20.65 per hour
Qualifications- Minimum age 18.
- High school diploma or GED.
