Job description

Position Summary

PrideStaff San Diego is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wardrobe Worker to support daily wardrobe and uniform operations for a high-volume environment. This role is responsible for issuing, collecting, organizing, and maintaining uniforms and related items while ensuring cleanliness, organization, and accountability of inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue and collect uniforms, garments, and related items to staff
  • Hand and machine sewing experience ,straight stitch, zigzag, blind stitch, and overlock machine
  • Knowledge of clothing, fitting, and alteration principles
  • Inspect returned items for cleanliness, damage, and proper condition
  • Organize and maintain wardrobe inventory in a clean and orderly manner
  • Track inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies
  • Prepare garments for distribution (sorting, tagging, staging)
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of issued/returned items
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to staff
  • Support general housekeeping and organization of the wardrobe area

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, laundry, or uniform distribution preferred
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and maintain consistent attendance
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Skills & Abilities

  • Basic computer or tracking system familiarity (preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move items (light to moderate weight)
