Sr. Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Currently looking for a Sr. Project Manager - Commercial Construction to fill a position in the Fort Wayne, IN area for a Commercial Construction Firm client. This role is best for a hands-on problem solver who takes initiative rather than waiting to be directed someone who sees what needs to be done and does it. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and excel in collaboration and clear communication. A self-directed, goal-oriented mindset, integrity, and accountability are essential for success. Relocation assistance offered. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead support staff, field supervisors, and personnel through the successful management of assigned projects. The company's goal is to always have team safety and well-being in mind. We aim for projects within a 90-mile radius of the central office so our people can go home at the end of the workday.

Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication, representing the company in key meetings to align execution with client goals.
  • Lead and support internal teams by setting expectations, resolving conflicts, and encouraging collaboration.
  • Develop and manage project schedules across multiple projects, identifying delays early and helping teams resolve timing conflicts.
  • Oversee budgets, approve key financial items, support cost tracking, and analyze labor and material usage to improve future planning.
  • Oversee site operations, resolve major issues, and mentor project teams on consistent and effective site management.
  • Set and enforce quality standards, review inspection results, and drive continuous improvement in quality processes.
  • Manage major contracts, resolve complex issues, and advise teams on contract structure, risks, and compliance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by reviewing safety plans, ensuring quick issue resolution, and leading safety training and accountability improvements.
Sr. Project Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management/Engineering
  • 10+ years' experience in commercial-industrial construction and project management.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods).
  • Technical ability to understand and interpret construction documents (plans, specifications, scope of work) to ensure construction progress and its quality.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills required.
  • Proven track record to cultivate working relationships with managers, supervisors, superintendents, fellow workers, and clients to encourage cooperative team environment and professional approach.
  • Experience with Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore & Timberline
  • Ability to implement and follow Company policies, procedures and standards is essential.
  • Willing to work 10 hour days.
  • Comfort working within an EOS-driven organization
Sr. Project Manager Benefits:
