Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Local to Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH or Dallas, TX – Onsite
Employment: Full Time
Position Description:
Client looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who will work within the Production support and Performance Management practice to drive excellence and innovation to support operational delivery priorities. SRA works closely with the support team and ensures critical internal and external application services maintain reliability and uptime appropriate to client's needs while keeping an ever-watchful eye on identifying the improvement opportunities and operational gaps. This role includes SOP documentation, identifying opportunities for automation, working with offshore teams, understanding complex systems and technologies, understanding AIOps etc.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Overall 10+ years of IT experience
  • 2 to 3 years of business analytics and technical lead experience
  • Solid understanding of production support activities with client facing experience
  • Knowledge of system management and support analytic tools
  • Self initiative, details oriented, capable of bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Demonstrated ability to propose the most efficient and cost effective solutions.
  • Ability to work with multi geological teams and collect the inputs for analysis.
  • Good understanding of AI Ops and NLP.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership for process improvements and documenting the knowledge.
  • An inherent ability to solve problems and provide solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact and communicate with the client leaderships and technical SMEs.
  • Excellent knowledge of database (PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2)
  • Experience developing and consuming SOAP and REST web services for an operational/production environment.
  • Excellent Knowledge of Tomcat, Apache, WAS, and IIS
  • Extensive experience of Linux systems.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux server configurations.
  • Researches and evaluates alternative technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to propose the most efficient and cost effective solutions.
  • Understanding on Agile Methodology
  • Experience on monitoring tools like Dynatrace, DT Managed, GlassBox, ITCAMS, TrueSight, OEM
