Brighton Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in heavy industrial environments, such as steel mills, oil refineries, and related industries. This role focuses on mechanical improvements, capital maintenance projects, and facility upgrades across Northwest Indiana and the South Suburbs of Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mechanical improvement and capital maintenance projects within heavy industrial settings.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to identify and address mechanical challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for contractors and junior engineers.
  • Support business development efforts, building relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within steel mills, refineries, or other heavy industries.
