As a Senior Product Manager for the Data & AI space, you'll be the bridge between business and technology helping to ensure that technology delivery is matched with the strategies, objectives and needs of business stakeholders. You will combine expertise in Data, Analytics, and AI-enabled business capabilities , with technology delivery to create product vision & strategy, roadmaps, success measures, and initiatives that are aligned with the needs and strategies of your business stakeholders.

As a member of our IT Product Strategy team, you will be integrated into our delivery teams working closely with Product Owners, Engineering Program Managers, Data and AI teams and business stakeholders to ensure technology delivers the maximum value to Dollar General. Duties & Responsibilities: What major responsibilities does this position have and what percentage of time is spent on completing them?

Defining Product Vision & Strategy Develop a deep understanding of your stakeholders' business function processes, data needs, and decision‐making workflows – and the technologies that enable them.

Work with other Product Owners, engineering teams and data teams to understand current and future technology, analytics and AI capabilities Facilitate the creation of vision & strategy that aligns business needs with technology and data capability evolution 25% Plan & Deliver Planning the work including collaborating across different stakeholders, facilitate the setting the priorities, and getting alignment Define and document success measures and initiatives to provide engineering and data teams with the context they need to design and deliver solutions Continuously engage during delivery to clarify requirements and help to ensure that deliverables meet needs and fulfil on the required outcomes 35% Communication Keep stakeholders engaged in delivery by facilitating conversations about priorities, requirements, risks, and decisions Facilitate cross‐functional conversations to help stakeholders understand options and make choices (including facilitating investment decision making) 40% Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): What KSAs are required to perform this job?

Strong understanding of data, analytics, and AI business capabilities and the technology products that enable these functions. Technical and business fluency – proficient in facilitating conversations within and between these domains Proficiency in product management practices including working closely with Product Owners as a member of an agile delivery team Proficiency in creating and maintaining multiple product strategies, roadmaps, success measures, and initiatives Proficiency in facilitating the development of success measures (Objective and Key Results) Ability to coordinate cross‐functional teams and facilitate prioritization and decision‐making conversations Proficiency in helping to derive and quantify business benefits and in creating business cases to provide investment decision support Strong communication skills in listening, speaking, writing, and presenting Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and guide them to alignment on complex topics Familiarity with data platforms, analytics solutions, and AI‐enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

Work Experience &/or Education: What are the minimum education and/or experience requirements necessary to perform this job? 5+ years of experience in product management Product Management certification or equivalent experience Experience with data, analytics, AI, or enterprise technology products Experience with retail store operations functions and related technology products preferred 2+ years of people management experience; demonstrated track record of developing Product Managers/Product Owners, building high‐performance teams, and managing performance 5+ years of experience working with business and technology stakeholders to deliver data‐driven solutions. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
