Job Overview

Position: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Bedford Park, IL

Workplace type: Onsite

This role drives operational excellence and innovation by leading complex process improvements across manufacturing sites, delivering measurable gains in efficiency, safety, and cost performance. The Senior Process Engineer will design, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes across plants of varying scale, spearhead cross‑functional initiatives, and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver complex engineering designs, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and cost estimates.
  • Lead process optimization initiatives to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Drive implementation and adherence to Best Operating Practices (BOP) and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex process deviations with sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain stakeholders to solve challenges and implement improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant Management of Change (MOC) documentation for process updates.
  • Share and scale best practices and new technologies across sites to drive enterprise-wide impact.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing process optimization and standardization.
  • Deep technical expertise in process engineering, including design, process controls, and equipment selection.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex problem‑solving initiatives and implement sustainable solutions.
