Nexeo Staffing is hiring for an exciting opportunity with Ya YA Foods for a Senior Production Planner. This role is ideal for a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about optimizing production processes. The Senior Production Planner will play a key role in coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and customer service teams to ensure customer demand is consistently met. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and operational capacity.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as business needs change.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials, labor, and resources are available to support production.
  • Help balance production priorities while maintaining efficiency and meeting delivery expectations.
  • Monitor inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
  • Work with internal teams to anticipate material needs and minimize shortages.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels while reducing excess inventory.
  • Partner with operations, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and customer service teams to ensure production plans are executed successfully.
  • Communicate schedule updates and production priorities across departments.
  • Support the introduction of new products and operational changes as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze production trends and recommend improvements to scheduling and workflow.
  • Support ongoing initiatives that improve productivity and service levels.
  • Maintain accurate planning data and production records.
  • Track key operational metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Assist with forecasting and long-range planning activities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
