Job description

Lillibridge manages more than 22 million square feet of outpatient medical space across 36 states, providing prime medical office spaces to health systems and physicians seeking to expand their reach and deliver value to their communities.

About the Role

The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol. The SMT will collaborate effectively with co-workers, contributing to a dynamic and engaging work environment.


This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our buildings, creating safe, functional environments for tenants, clients, and patients.  Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete maintenance and repair work orders using work order software
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and resolve issues safely and efficiently
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members regarding building needs
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, policies, and procedures
  • Support the Supervisor/Property Manager in monitoring building operations and vendor performance
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum of 3 years of related maintenance experience; preferably in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital environments
  • Certifications (e.g., HVAC, CFC Handling, Electrical, Plumbing) preferred
  • Must be located in Indianapolis, IN area with availability for after-hours emergencies and participation in on-call rotation
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and perform extensive walking
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using maintenance or work order software
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future

The estimated hourly range for this position is $32-36/hour. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on work location, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and business needs.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other wellness benefits under applicable plan terms.
