About the role
The Senior Loan Processor is responsible to proactively process a pipeline of diverse, demanding and complex loans. This role manages loan closing activities for loans, modifications, renewals, and extensions and works to resolve any issues or obstacles to closing. Confirms all loans are closed in compliance with Company procedures and relevant regulations.
This position is located in Rapid City, SD. This position is performed in the branch.
What you will do
  • Reviews and processes loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all required documentation.
  • Prepares and maintains loan documentation, including promissory notes, security agreements, and collateral documents.
  • Verifies insurance requirements are correct and up-to-date.
  • Ensures that all documents are properly executed and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors and tracks loan files to ensure they are up to date with relevant information, commercial loan covenants, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintains the file monitoring system (Tickler Reports).
  • Assists in the preparation of loan disbursements and payments, maintaining accurate records throughout the loan cycle.
  • Maintains open and clear communication with customers, providing assistance and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborates with lending officers, credit analysts, and other departments to facilitate the loan origination and servicing processes.
  • Identifies any obstacles to closings and presents viable alternatives and solutions.
  • Reviews titles and works to resolve any outstanding title issues, prepares escrow instructions.
  • Assists in training and mentoring loan administrators.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you will need
  • Associate's degree or greater in related field is preferred.
  • 2-5+ years of Commercial Loan processing experience, preferably in LaserPro..
  • Familiarity with LaserPro, Fiserv Premier Banking System, or other banking systems a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
