Vaults team brings over 90 years of direct carbon storage experience, with involvement in the development of carbon storage projects across North America since 2007.


Vaults capabilities span technical analysis, project design, permitting, stakeholder engagement, land leasing and acquisition, facility construction, and operations. In collaboration with our industrial partners, we are currently developing CCS projects in the US Midwest, US Southeast, and Canada, focusing on single CO2 source, near-site sequestration projects and including 7 projects currently under contract.


Vault has secured a US$300 million equity capital commitment from Grey Rock Investment Partners (Dallas, TX based private equity company) and has offices in Denver, CO and Calgary, AB.

Opportunity:

Reporting to the Land Manager, the Contract Landman will work closely with the Land Manager and Land Lead to execute functions related to pore space and right-of-way acquisition, review of title work product, and field landowner relationship management. The individual will support execution of pore space and right-of-way agreements for carbon sequestration projects across Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan under deal parameters established by senior land leads.

This position requires an exceptional, highly motivated person committed to face-to-face, high-touch landowner interactions. Critical to the roles success, the Contract Landman will execute pore space and right-of-way agreements, manage ongoing landowner relationships, review title commitments and abstracts to identify encumbrances or defects requiring cure, and support community relations and public outreach activities. Travel within Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan is required.
