Overview

Senior Logistician (2026-25820):

Bowhead seeks a Senior Logistician to join our team in supporting the Crane, IN Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) and the Radar Technologies Division. The Senior Logistician shall perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy. The Logistician shall be capable of independently performing complicated and technical logistics tasks described below.

Responsibilities

Essential functions include:

  • Provide support for the 12 IPS elements in support of SPY-6 PSI and Depot workload efforts.

  • Review regular production CDRL deliverables and develop/implement product support actions resulting from reviews.

  • Provide daily support for long-term PSI objectives including but not limited to: ISEA support, Array Configuration Status Accounting, waterfront knowledge development/engagement

  • Assist in the management of TDP validation efforts for T/RIMM, DREX, and radiator panels that include inputting purchases, capturing and documenting TDP deficiencies and sources of supply.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required in addition to at least fifteen (15+) years of experience

  • Knowledge of DoD supply chain managment and inventory control.

  • Knowledge of the twelve integrated product support elements.

  • Ability to access and utilize federal logistics information systems to include but not limited to: WebFLIS, FedMall, and fleet organizations.

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders from various government activities, industry, and fleet organizations.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Target salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annually based on qualifications and experience

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, however candidates with an active Secret clearance are highly encouraged to apply. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
