Materials Handling Associate

Location: Avon, IN


7am-3:30pm and 3:30-midnight available

StaffMax is looking for dependable team members. In this role, you will help move, organize, and prepare products for shipment while ensuring a safe and clean work environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Receive, store, move, and organize inventory.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Verify products and quantities for accuracy.
  • Assist in different areas of the warehouse as needed to support production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience is preferred (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or order picker), but training may be provided.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Comfortable using warehouse scanners or handheld devices.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet when required.
  • Safety shoes are required

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
