Job description

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Scanner in partnership with a prominent client in the Hillcrest, NY area within an electronics warehouse. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel and have experience with RF scanners.
Summary:
Shift: 1st
Pay: $17 - $18
Warehouse Scanner Job Responsibilities:
  • Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and ensure accuracy
  • Enter, update, and maintain data using Microsoft Excel
  • Perform regular counts
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Move items around warehouse after they are scanned and data entered.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Scanner Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and tracking)
  • Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds consistently throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
