Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Warehouse Associate opportunities in Hanover Park, IL. This isn't your ordinary warehouse job or ordinary company. Responsibilities for a Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:

• Process customer orders daily while meeting customer expectations, productivity, and quality standards.
• Work in one or more warehouse process paths, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Operate a Cherry Picker/Order Picker to safely and accurately pick products from warehouse locations.
• Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complete required documentation for hazardous materials when applicable.
• Help ensure inventory is stored properly, accurately, and safely.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive and productive warehouse environment.

Candidates for Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
• Cherry Picker / Order Picker experience is REQUIRED — must-have qualification.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks is required.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse for significant periods of time, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when handling products, orders, and inventory.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working independently and solving problems quickly.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling hazardous materials or chemicals is a plus.
• Experience using computers, RF scanners, and warehouse scanning equipment is a plus.
