Job description

AWS is seeking a strategic Senior Program Manager to define and lead the global expo experience across AWS's 1P events portfolio. As organizations navigate an AI-driven world, this role will shape how AWS showcases its capabilities, connects with customers, and drives engagement through world-class expo experiences that deliver measurable business outcomes.
You'll own the strategic vision and framework for AWS expo experiences across 1P events, including Global Summits and re:Invent, establishing the standards, guidelines, and measurement protocols that ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all regions. This includes defining key messaging in partnership with business owners, enabling global teams on AWS Brand expression, and maintaining a centralized demonstration catalog that ensures consistent messaging and use cases are represented across all events

By leveraging data-driven insights and emerging technologies, you'll create immersive expo experiences that educate customers through hands-on practices, showcase cloud and AI innovation, and drive measurable business impact.
This role requires proven experience leading global expo and cross-regional programs, strong strategic thinking to translate strategy into actionable frameworks, and excellent stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels. You must demonstrate a data-driven approach to program measurement and optimization, experience managing large-scale expo or experiential marketing programs, and strong cross-functional leadership capabilities to manage multiple concurrent initiatives. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across diverse, global teams are essential for ensuring consistent execution while enabling appropriate regional customization.
Key job responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
Define and establish the Global Expo Framework that sets strategic direction, standards, and guidelines ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with AWS brand values and topline messaging across all regional implementations
Collaborate with Regional Expo Leads in a two-way partnership to gather regional insights, market intelligence, and on-the-ground feedback that informs and evolves the global strategy, ensuring the framework remains relevant, practical, and responsive to diverse market needs
Establish global standards for expo floor design (including naming conventions), interactive elements, audience and business area definitions, and customer engagement that align with AWS Brand guidance - creating comprehensive guidelines that Regional Leads can adapt while maintaining the integrity of the global experience
Work with business owners to define key messaging for the global portfolio - including Product Marketing and other strategic initiatives - ensuring consistent messaging across all 1P events


Work with AWS Brand to enable global teams on brand expression and expectations for Expo, ensuring alignment with AWS brand standards across all regional implementations
Own and maintain the demonstration catalog to ensure consistent messaging and use cases are showcased across events - maintaining a centralized repository of approved demonstrations that represent AWS capabilities consistently worldwide
Define global KPIs and measurement frameworks for expo execution that enable consistent evaluation across 1P events, establishing metrics for customer engagement, business outcomes, operational efficiency, and program ROI
Report on global program performance to executive stakeholders, providing comprehensive analysis of expo effectiveness, business impact, and strategic recommendations for program expansion and optimization
Maintain framework governance by establishing clear processes for updates, exception approvals, and change management while ensuring compliance with legal, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
