Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Support effective global Project Team meetings that provide a forum for communication, removing obstacles and resolving issues.
  • Ensure meeting deliverables and agreements are caried out.
  • Lead the team development of the project timeline and budget with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Maintain, monitor and report project progress and perform updates to timelines and budget.
  • Communicate difficult concepts to ensure team members understand and are aligned with project goal and objectives, project plan, critical path and potential critical path activities.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and to agreed upon quality.
  • Coordinate and compile global project scope documents and plans.
  • Work with project team members to assure that the sub-teams are aligned and that functions are applying resources as necessary to accomplish the sub-teams' goals. Impacts the achievement of project objectives.
  • Work with project team to identify project risks and create mitigation plans. Leads others to solve complex problems.
  • Raise potential issues to Project Team Leader and Team for resolution.
  • Develop and implement Integrated Development Plan to support the approve Project Strategy.
  • Ensure alignment of functional goals with relevant Project Team Goals. Includes relevant PT goals in individual goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 7-10 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. A Master's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of pharmaceutical development experience preferred. PMP certification a plus but not required.
  • Must possess knowledge of pharmaceutical development programs including basic understanding of clinical and cmc development, commercial principles and health authority requirements.
  • Must possess Project Management skills such as development of timelines, identification of critical path, budget management, pharmaceutical risk analysis and mitigation, strong communication skills, driver of team activity required.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization.
  • Position functions semi-autonomously.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $95,000 - $193,000.
