Full Stack Engineer
Location: Des Moines, Iowa (Hybrid)
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Full Stack Engineer to support the modernization of a large-scale billing platform and other business applications. This role involves migrating a long-standing application to a serverless AWS environment and contributing to future development. The position is ideal for an engineer with experience in SQL, AWS, C#/.NET, and modern cloud development practices who is interested in application modernization and building scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications that support billing and business operations.
  • Participate in the modernization of legacy applications to a serverless AWS architecture.
  • Design, build, and support APIs and backend services.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using tools like Azure DevOps and YAML.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and analysts on solution design and implementation.
  • Support application enhancements, troubleshooting, and production deployments.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 4 - 6 years of software development experience.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong SQL experience.
  • C#/.NET development experience.
  • AWS cloud experience, including AWS Glue and Lambda.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js.
  • Experience building and supporting APIs.
  • Knowledge of services such as API Gateway, SQS, and EventBridge.
