Job Description Are you a senior software engineer who enjoys modernizing enterprise applications and solving complex technical challenges. Our client, a respected organization in the financial services industry, is investing heavily in the modernization of its technology platform and is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to help lead that transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies while gradually replacing legacy applications with scalable, service-oriented solutions.

The environment is currently a blend of approximately 75% legacy applications and 25% modern technologies, with a long-term focus on modernization. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with today's development stack and enjoys helping shape the future of enterprise software. What You'll Do As a senior member of the engineering team, you'll provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development.

You'll partner with architects, business stakeholders, and fellow engineers to design, build, and enhance enterprise applications that support critical business operations. Responsibilities include: Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications. Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

Build scalable APIs and modern web applications. Help modernize legacy systems into modern, service-oriented solutions. Design and implement secure, high-performing applications.

Develop automated testing solutions and improve software quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver business solutions. Optimize databases, application performance, and system reliability.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and recommend long-term improvements. Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and promote engineering best practices. Required Technical Skills Microsoft .NET Core / .NET Node.js ReactJS and Redux MongoDB SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases Docker and Kubernetes RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture Authentication technologies including OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0 What We're Looking For 8+ years of professional software development experience

Strong full-stack development background. Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications. Solid understanding of application architecture, security, and system integrations.

Ability to lead technical initiatives while remaining hands-on with development. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for mentoring teammates and driving continuous improvement.

Experience working in Agile development environments. Bonus Qualifications Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications. Background in cloud-native application development.
