Job description

The Sr Financial Controller will be responsible for a number of international companies within the IPCOM portfolio, with the objective of coordinating and supporting the administrative and financial functions in close collaboration with the local finance leads.

  • Follow up on and coordinate the monthly and annual financial closing processes of the various IPCOM entities.
  • Take responsibility for the monthly internal management reporting of the assigned business units, including analysis, interpretation, and documentation of monthly results.
  • Further define and implement KPI reporting (Power BI), including Price / Volume / Mix analyses.
  • Prepare periodic business reviews.
  • Prepare materials for Board of Directors and shareholders’ meetings.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and interim forecasts.
  • Support the monthly consolidation process and follow up on differences between local GAAP and IFRS reporting.
  • Support the Group’s buy & build strategy and the integration of newly acquired companies into the Group.
  • Conceptually develop new analyses and dashboards.
  • Support and mentor more junior colleagues.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses, such as investment analyses, ERP support, and strategic initiatives.
Your profile
  • Master’s degree in a financial or economic discipline (e.g. Economics, Business Administration, Commercial Sciences).
  • 8–12 years of experience in a similar, broad-based role within an international environment.
  • Broad technical expertise across multiple areas of financial management, such as controlling, management reporting, and financial process optimisation.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Power BI (or other BI tools).
  • System-minded, with a strong interest in ERP environments.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Communicative team player.
  • Hands-on, accountable, and result-driven.
  • A motivated self-starter.
  • Flexible and willing to travel occasionally.
  • Pragmatic and comfortable working in a decentralised organisation with an entrepreneurial culture.
