Job description

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to drive a product-centric portfolio and support the strategic roadmap for annual and long-term capital and operating expense plans. This role will focus on portfolio forecasting, capacity planning, prioritization, and executive-level reporting while partnering closely with finance, product, project, and technical teams.   • Pay rate :$70 to $80/hr on w2
Responsibilities:
  • Own portfolio forecast planning for large-scale programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance to manage variance analysis, monthly and quarterly close activities, and financial updates.
  • Consolidate and communicate planning data across project, product, and portfolio teams to identify and resolve variances.
  • Monitor and escalate portfolio risks, impacts, and opportunities as needed.
  • Gather, analyze, and maintain reports related to capacity planning, forecast rationalization, and prioritization.
  • Support key financial planning activities, including Long-Term Plan (LTP), Annual Capital Plan (ACP), and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Ensure accurate project and portfolio data is maintained within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, dashboards, and communications.
  • Build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related portfolio, project, program, or financial planning experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PPM tools is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including project planning, resource planning, issue management, and organizational change management.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working with cross-functional creative, business, and technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
