Help Power the Future of AI, Data Centers, and the Energy Transition

As our Senior Business Development Manager - Data Center & Grid Solutions, you will drive the growth of Innomotics' Grid Applications business within one of the world's fastest-growing markets. Working at the intersection of sales, technology, and strategy, you will help customers solve critical power, reliability, and grid stability challenges while expanding Innomotics' presence in the Data Center sector.

AI infrastructure is driving one of the largest investments in electrical infrastructure in decades. Innomotics is building a dedicated team to become a leading supplier of static frequency conversion and grid stabilization solutions for hyperscale Data Centers across North America.

With unprecedented investments being made in Data Center and power infrastructure across North America, this role will help define our commercial strategy, build relationships with EPCs and hyperscale customers, and shape a significant new growth market for Innomotics.

As part of our Grid Applications team, you will collaborate across regions and functions to deliver solutions that improve grid stability, reliability, and efficiency-key enablers of the energy transition.

The ideal candidate would be based in the Atlanta, GA or Kansas City, MO areas OR be based near a major airport hub for ease of US travel. ย 

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for our Grid Applications portfolio within the Data Center market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities from early engagement through contract award
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline, providing visibility into opportunities, forecasts, and risks
  • Engage with hyperscale Data Center customers, consultants, EPCs, utilities, and other key stakeholders to understand needs and position our solutions.
  • Lead complex proposals and tenders, coordinating technical, commercial, and internal approval processes
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to secure project wins and drive strategic growth
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity, translating insights into actionable plans
  • Represent Innomotics at customer meetings, negotiations, and industry events
  • Build strategic partnerships and support customer prequalification efforts for the Grid Applications portfolio

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Significant experience in business development, sales, market development, or solution selling within power, energy, infrastructure, industrial, or technology-related industries
  • Demonstrated success developing or winning complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities
  • Strong customer focus, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, international, and collaborative environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%
  • Fluent English communication skills

The pay range for this position is $93,436 - $240,262. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
