Hiring Pay Ranges: $56,888.00 - $119,934.88 per year (Includes $2080.00 per year Cost of Living Adjustment)

  • Credit Risk Review Specialist II - $56,888.00 - $82,571.84per year
  • Credit Risk Review Specialist III - $68,411.20 - $99,480.16 per year
  • Senior Credit Risk Review Specialist - $82,326.40 - $119,934.88 per year
    • The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary

  • Conduct activities related to the company's loan review process to minimize losses and ensure company lending practices conform to established policy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing credit risk assessments for ANB Bank. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing credit files for risk assessment, proper documentation, and quality of underwriting.
  • Review and assess the following credit processes of the bank:
    • Risk rating effectiveness
    • Policy and procedure compliance
    • Compliance with underwriting standards
    • Credit monitoring
    • Credit analysis and presentation
    • Loan structure
    • Problem loan administration
    • Legal credit file documentation
    • Credit file quality
    • Compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.
  • Follow up as necessary on outstanding concerns identified at credit risk reviews to ensure management is addressing identified problems and correcting issues of concern.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Credit Risk Review Specialist II

  • 3 - 5 years of loan review, commercial lending and credit analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate and resolve findings during the review process.
  • Ability to analyze credit and underwrite risk for consumer and commercial credits. Understanding of cash flow and loan repayment.
  • Understanding and ability to review loan documentation.
  • Performs duties above under minimal guidance and direction from Senior Credit Risk Review Officer.
  • Preferred regulatory experience helpful, but not a requirement.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Credit Risk Review Specialist III

  • 5 - 8 years of loan review, commercial lending and credit analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate and resolve findings during the review process.
  • Ability to analyze credit and underwrite risk for consumer and commercial credits. Understanding of cash flow and loan repayment.
  • Understanding and ability to review loan documentation.
  • Performs duties above under guidance and direction from Senior Credit Risk Review Officer.
  • Preferred regulatory experience helpful, but not a requirement.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Senior Credit Risk Review Specialist

  • 8+ years of loan review, commercial lending and credit analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in communication. Ability to communicate and resolve findings during the review process. Responsible for leading communication with senior officers within the lending and credit teams.
  • Ability to analyze credit and underwrite risk for the most complex credits. Thorough understanding of complex cash flows and loan repayment.
  • Detailed understanding and ability to review loan documentation.
  • Performs duties above under minimal guidance and direction from Senior Credit Risk Review Officer.
  • Preferred regulatory experience helpful, but not a requirement.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
