Paciolan is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of live events, analytics, and modern cloud data platforms. In this role, you'll have end-to-end ownership of the data products that empower our clients to make timely, high-impact business decisions while helping shape the future of our analytics capabilities.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Build and scale business intelligence as a service, delivering insights that create measurable value for clientsDesign, own, and evolve end-to-end data solutions across data engineering, analytics, and data scienceDevelop and maintain dynamic dashboards using Fundraising, Ticketing, Marketing, and other complex data sourcesLead client onboarding and act as a long-term analytics partner to participating organizationsEnsure data accuracy and reliability through rigorous validation, monitoring, and root-cause analysisCreate data models and structures that power trusted, scalable analyticsPartner closely with Product, UI/UX, Customer Success, and fellow data engineers to deliver intuitive, high-impact solutionsProactively propose new analyses and help shape how insights are shared across clients and internal teamsMinimum Qualifications:4+ years of work experience delivering business intelligence or analytics to stakeholders across teams or organizationsDemonstrated experience in the ticketing/live events/sports spaceStrong SQL skills and hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, AWS, or similar)Experience building dashboards and reports using modern data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)A curiosity-driven mindset—you ask “why,” connect patterns, and turn data into clear, compelling storiesA passion for building analytics that are not only accurate, but genuinely useful and actionableComfort giving and receiving feedback, and a willingness to stretch beyond your comfort zonePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Python or R for predictive, statistical, or categorical modelingFamiliarity with live entertainment, college athletics, or fundraising dataEnd-to-end data engineering experience (source warehousevisualization/export)Experience with ETL tools and modern data stack patternsDeep familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platformsExposure to AI-driven analytics use cases (e.g., forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection, or AI-assisted insights), and interest in building data foundations that support future AI capabilitiesPay Transparency:The approximate national base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Please note that this is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation based on individual and company performance. Placement on the range may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and geographic location.
