JOB DESCRIPTION – BI ARCHITECT

Role: BI Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Preference: Local candidates preferred

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced BI Architect to lead enterprise reporting, dashboard architecture, semantic data modeling, and analytics modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, Snowflake, and dimensional modeling, with strong stakeholder-facing experience in enterprise environments.

This role requires close collaboration with business leaders, data engineering teams, and executive stakeholders in an onsite Atlanta model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scalable BI and reporting architecture
  • Build enterprise Power BI / Tableau semantic layers
  • Develop star schema, fact/dimension, and KPI reporting models
  • Architect data warehouse reporting solutions across Snowflake, SQL Server, Synapse, Redshift
  • Optimize dashboard performance and refresh strategy
  • Partner with ETL/data engineering teams on warehouse design
  • Translate business KPIs into executive dashboards
  • Lead reporting governance and best practices
  • Support data lineage, security, and row-level access
  • Mentor BI developers and reporting analysts
  • Drive onsite stakeholder workshops and architecture reviews
