Job Type: Remote-Contract
Duration: 1 year + Extension
Location: Athens, GA 30606
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Power BI Publisher to support the migration of approximately 400 IBM Cognos reports to Microsoft Power BI and develop new Power BI dashboards. The consultant will work with Oracle data sources, support reporting and analytics initiatives, and ensure compliance with data governance and ADA Title II accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrate IBM Cognos reports to Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, scorecards, metrics, filters, prompts, and visualizations.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, testing, issue resolution, and enhancements.
  • Develop consolidated Power BI usage reports and analytics metrics.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support Power BI workspace architecture, security, version control, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA Title II accessibility requirements and organizational data governance standards.

Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboards, reports, scorecards, metrics, filters, and visualizations.
  • 3+ years of experience with IBM Cognos.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric.
