Job Title: Cold Room Senior Automation Engineer
Location: New Albany, OH

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in industrial refrigeration and CO2 cold room systems to lead the design, commissioning, validation, and operation of automated cold chain solutions in a GMP-regulated environment. The role involves supporting ASRS-enabled cold storage systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable cold room operations.
 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration and cold room design
  • 1+ years of experience with CO2 refrigeration systems and cold room operations
  • Experience in GMP/GxP-regulated environments and validation processes
  • Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV)
  • Strong understanding of automation systems, OT/IT integration, and industrial networks
  • Experience working within GMP, OSHA, and EPA requirements
  • Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
     

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ASRS-enabled cold storage systems
  • Vendor management and system integration experience
  • Ability to lead training, startup, and continuous improvement initiatives
