We are seeking an experienced professional to support projects in the bulk material handling industry. This role involves technical support from initial quotations through design and implementation, ensuring efficient and profitable solutions for clients in sectors with dry/bulk raw materials. It offers opportunities for applying deep industry expertise in a collaborative environment, contributing to innovative material transfer systems that solve real-world challenges.

  • Anticipate $140K-$160K, based on experience
  • Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, holidays
  • Bonus program, flexible office-based schedule with occasional site visits.
  • Anticipated travel: As needed, occasional.
  • Office based position in Kansas City (typically work 2 days per week remotely)

Responsibilities

  • Establish performance guidelines and parameters for air-powered material transfer systems.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify optimal solutions for client needs.
  • Work with purchasing on specifications and integration of equipment.
  • Manage multiple projects and quotations at various stages.
  • Provide sales support, estimating, and coordination to meet customer requirements.
  • Handle other assigned duties, including special projects.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering/Design preferred.
  • 15-25 years direct experience in material handling systems
  • Background as Applications Engineer, Sales Engineer, Estimator, or Project Manager.
  • Strong technical understanding of equipment, design, and execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; AutoCAD preferred.
  • Critical thinking, collaboration, detail orientation, time management, and mechanical skills.
