Join our Manufacturing Value Team, a strategic arm of the Digital Manufacturing Division, focused on delivering digital solutions that drive operational excellence, compliance, and innovation across global manufacturing sites.

The Senior Product Analyst is part of the Launch Line Intelligence product line team, which is a businessfacing role responsible for supporting advanced manufacturing and process analytics applications such as Seeq within the MPI ecosystem. This role represents Manufacturing Science & Technology and Commercialization users, translates business and process needs into clear product requirements, and works closely with Technical Product Managers, engineering, and data teams to ensure valuable, usable, and adoptable analytics capabilities for Proactive Process Monitoring (PPM), batch data investigations, and cross site process robustness through varied in-house built or COTS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary user-facing partner for advanced process analytics use cases, supporting investigations, monitoring, and continuous improvement through various applications (e.g. Seeq).
  • Discover, document, and manage business processes, opportunity statements, use cases, and user requirements related to advanced process analytics.
  • Translate manufacturing and MS&T user needs into clear problem statements, requirements, and user stories that are traceable through delivery and testing.
  • Facilitate structured user feedback and synthesize insights into prioritized backlog items in partnership with Technical Product Managers.
  • Represent user needs in product planning and prioritization discussions, balancing business value, compliance expectations, and platform strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, digital, analytics, and platform teams to ensure solutions align with MPI standards and governance.
  • Participate across the product SDLC by supporting requirements refinement, backlog readiness, user acceptance testing, release planning inputs, and post-release feedback.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and user enablement activities to drive adoption and effective use of analytics capabilities.
  • Build and maintain a strong domain understanding of manufacturing process data, analytics use cases, and workflows supported by the MPI ecosystem.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering or equivalent technical field with 6+ (six or more) years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced industrial analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of probability and statistics
  • Strong ability to translate business needs to technical requirements, and to communicate digital concepts to non-technical personnel
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate with key stakeholder groups and drive/influence results in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to independently develop innovative solutions for complex problems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a globally distributed team
  • Practice in Agile Methodology and Continuous Improvement and with a Digital & Innovative mindset
  • Expertise in authoring and executing technical documentation following industry standards and methodologies (SDLC, AGILE)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation
  • Ability to understand manufacturing or business process context and reflect it accurately in data transformations and metadata

Preferred

  • Knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, manufacturing systems (e.g. MES, LIMS, PI, SAP), and scientific TechOps processes that consume the data - e.g. deviation and batch discard investigations, continuous process verification, statistical process control charts, MVDA and AI/ML workloads
  • Experience with OSIsoft PI / PI AF, analytics and BI tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, JMP, Seeq
  • Background in manufacturing or process analytics (PPM), including cross site or franchise level analysis and GMP/GxP considerations

The salary range for this role is

$117,000.00 - $184,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
