What You'll Do/Job Functions:

  • Monitors & patrols multiple sites on foot and/or bicycle, checks for unsafe conditions, hazards etc.

  • Responds to incidents of work-related injury, medical emergency, fire, threats, suspicious activity etc.

  • Observe and report activities and incidents.

  • Controls & monitors access into all buildings.

  • Prepare accurate logs and reports as needed.

  • Works closely with other security personnel, management, employees & visitors.

  • Learn and understand basic OSHA and Fire laws.

  • Knowledge & understanding of CCTV systems.

  • Knowledge & understanding of access control systems (Brivo).

Physical Requirements:

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other associates, or guests.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and carry for up to 50 feet.

  • Able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Bending, lifting, and chopping repetitively throughout the day.

  • Ability to work in a small physical space that can be loud at times.

Schedule

This position requiresopen availability to work8 or 12-hour shifts, Day, Swing and Graveyard, Monday-Friday and/or weekends.
