Volt is immediately hiring for a Security Manager in Georgetown, TX.
As a Security Manager, you will:
Manage all aspects of Security operations that includes assessing security risks, develop internal controls and adopting customer's strict security guideline and 0 lost/0 claim policies to prevent the theft of equipment or proprietary information, and ensure that employees are safe in the workplace. When security breaches occur, your focus shifts from prevention to investigation and damage control and provide the leadership required to ensure that the proper policies and procedures are in place to provide a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, assets, confidential or proprietary information in a cost-effective manner.
• Provide protection for personnel and company/customer's property through the
management of security protocols
• Conduct risk assessment, maintain and assist client's compliance audit
• Security supplier (third party company) management and developing, implementing
and maintaining security policies to meet required codes and regulations.
• Providing required service delivery to the client in accordance with company procedures & agreed budget
• Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and
other agencies as required
• Utilizing a strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV equipment and
investigations
• Managing the performance of contract security (third party company) personnel
• Providing security education and awareness activities
• Preparing and maintaining all required security and documentation
• Co-ordinating and administering security clearances and other security policies and
procedures
• Preparing and managing budgets and expenditure
• Creativity and innovation in deploying security technologies
• Working collaboratively with Customer's Security Operations
• Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with
customer's security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government
security requirements, policies, and directives.
• Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms,
following emergency response procedures.
This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 7:00am- 4:00pm
The ideal candidate will have:
• BA in Criminal justice / Organizational Security or equivalent
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Available to travel for training and between facilities/ locations
• Current SIA License holder or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years Corporate Security Management experience or law enforcement background is plus
• Great communication skills both verbal and written
• Positive mindset
• Team player
Pay range: $55,000- $65,000 DOE
