Do you have a passion for safety, leadership, and creating a secure environment where students can thrive? Glenmont Job Corps is seeking a professional, dependable, and proactive Safety & Security Advisor to help maintain a safe and supportive campus community. Must have valid In state Drivers License and High School Diploma/GED

Hours: 3p-12 Prime shift or 12a-8:30a Overnight

What You’ll Do: Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the campus, students, staff, and visitors Conduct routine patrols and inspections of facilities and grounds Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns Enforce center policies and procedures to promote a secure environment Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to incidents and observations Collaborate with staff and leadership to support a positive student experience

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED. Advanced degrees preferred.

  • Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.

  • Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.

  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
