Customer Service Representative (CSR) โ€“ Seasonal
In Office โ€“ Indianapolis, IN

Balance Platforms is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the primary point of contact for inbound client communication and internal task coordination.ย 

This role is centered aroundย handling inbound phone calls, routing requests, and ensuring all communication is properly captured and directed to theย appropriate teamย members. The CSR plays a key role in keeping workflows organized and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.ย 

This is aย seasonal, in-office roleย with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and company needs.ย 

Whatย Youโ€™llย Be Responsible Forย 

  • Answer and manage inbound client phone calls in a professional and efficient mannerย ย 

  • Triage incoming requests and route them to theย appropriate internalย teams (Sales, Account Management, Production, or Admin)ย ย 

  • Create and assign tasks to ensure all client communication is documented and followed up onย ย 

  • Provide basic file status updates whenย appropriateย and escalate more complex requestsย ย 

  • Make outbound calls to clients whenย additionalย follow-up is needed to support file progressionย ย 

  • Support the Admin team by ensuring communication gaps are minimized and follow-ups areย initiatedย when neededย ย 

Performance Expectationsย 

  • Maintain consistent responsiveness to inbound calls throughout the dayย ย 

  • Accurately capture and route client requests with minimal errors or reworkย ย 

  • Ensure every interaction results in a clear next step (task created, routed, or escalated)ย ย 

  • Follow established workflows and documentation standards consistentlyย ย 

  • Contribute to keeping projects moving byย initiatingย follow-up calls when neededย ย 

Qualificationsย 

  • Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism on the phoneย ย 

  • High attention to detail and organizational abilityย ย 

  • Ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks throughout the dayย ย 

  • Basic computerย proficiencyย (experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot is a plus)ย ย 

  • Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred but notย requiredย ย
