Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial construction industry, with a focus on NYC markets.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with general contractors, architects, project managers, and decision-makers.

  • Promote window treatment solutions to both new and existing clients, providing tailored recommendations and insights.

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, bid opportunities, and potential clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, project management, operations) to align client expectations with deliverables.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and follow-up communications.

  • Attend networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings to build brand awareness and trust.

  • Maintain a detailed CRM pipeline and provide regular sales activity reports to leadership.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the NYC commercial construction industry.

  • Background in window covering products or construction trades is highly desirable but not required.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive long-term client engagement.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time, prioritize leads, and operate independently.
